Sarah Burgess Takes on the World’s best with Davies Craig
Davies Craig Sponsored Australian Sarah Burgess is stateside taking on some of the world’s best off-road racers in the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Championships. Currently sitting 11th in points in the super competitive Pro Lite Class, Burgess’ Truck is fitted with the best Davies Craig has to offer. Off Road racing is the ultimate test of man and machine, as components and drivers are tested to the absolute limit having to face huge jumps, fast corners and of course a number of other competitors chasing you down!
The 2017 season started off back in April at the Wild Horse Pass Motorsport Complex in Arizona, where Burgess was able to begin the season with a hard earned 10th place in round 1. After fighting up as high as 8th in round 2, unfortunately Burgess only able to manage 14th after mechanical gremlins struck her Gear Alloy Wheels ProLite Truck. From Arizona, the series headed to Mexico, where racing took place at Estero Beach Resort. After some hard fought racing on the beach circuit, Burgess was able to negotiate the roost and tricky conditions to manage 11th and 13th at the two rounds to take place over the weekend. The 2017 season will continue on June 24-25 at the Utah Motorsports Park, where Burgess will be looking to power her way into the Top 10 of the ProLite category and gain valuable championship points.
Sarah has a strong history of racing both in Australia and abroad, having competed in such series as Red Bull Global Rallycross, the Xtreme Drift Circuit, the East Coast Bash and Hyperfest.
