The Hydra-Cool® 21 plate transmission oil cooler is an effective & economical way to keep the transmission at its optimum operating temperature. High efficiency turbulators in each tube direct the fluid for superior heat transfer. Hydra-Cool's® unique plate & fin design allows for effective cooling, yet requires 33% less space. The Hydra-Cool's® compact design is perfect for applications where available mounting space is limited. Coupled with our 8 inch Thermatic Fan it provides everything you will need to fit your oil cooler.

The 21-plate Transmission Oil Cooler and DCSL 8” Thermatic Fan Combo Kit is designed to assist cool transmission oil during sustained high speed driving, stop, start/traffic, towing heavy loads, 4WD off-road/ climbing driving conditions. Your Transmission Oil Cooler Combo Kit will help guard against the transmission overheating and assist in related operating conditions where transmissions are subjected to a great deal of stress.
To manage the thrematic fan on the oil cooler we recommend our digital thermatic fan switch; part number 0444. It senses air temperature as it passes through the radiator with the sensor placed in the radiator fin section so no need to cut hoses. It has an adjustable temperature range of 40ºC to 110ºC (104ºF to 230ºF) and can show Centigrade or Fahrenheit. Temp is set by pressing the set button. It can run 1 or 2 fans. The second fan (if applicable) will start 10 seconds after Fan #1 runs. It operated thermally & also when the air conditioning is in operation.
